8月，境外机构投资者共达成现券交易13875亿元1，同比增加21%、环比减少11%，交易量占同期现券市场总成交量的约4%。8月，境外机构投资者买入债券7615亿元，卖出债券6260亿元，净买入1355亿元。其中，通过结算代理模式达成5835亿元(代理交易5489亿元、直接交易346亿元)，净买入833亿元；通过债券通模式达成8039亿元，净买入522亿元。
In August,the cash bond trading turnover of overseas investors amounted to1387.5billion yuan1,with increase of21%YoY and decrease of11%MoM.This amount represented about4%of the total turnover for interbank cash bond market of the same month.The total monthly figure comprised761.5billion yuan of bond purchase and626.0billion yuan of bond sell,giving a net purchase of135.5billion yuan.The turnover reached583.5billion yuan for CIBM Direct(548.9billion yuan through agent trade and34.6billion yuan through Direct-RFQ Service（SCI）)with net purchase of83.3billion yuan,and803.9billion yuan for Bond Connect with net purchase of52.2billion yuan.
