5月，境外机构投资者共达成现券交易14048亿元1，同比减少5%、环比减少12%，交易量占同期现券市场总成交量的约4%。5月，境外机构投资者买入债券7813亿元，卖出债券6235亿元，净买入1578亿元。其中，通过结算代理模式达成5116亿元(代理交易4782亿元、直接交易334亿元)，净买入1170亿元；通过债券通模式达成8931亿元，净买入408亿元。
In May,the cash bond trading turnover of overseas investors amounted to1404.8billion yuan,with decrease of5%YoY and of12%MoM.This amount represented about4%of the total turnover for interbank cash bond market of the same month.The total monthly figure comprised781.3billion yuan of bond purchase and623.5billion yuan of bond sell,giving a net purchase of157.8billion yuan.The turnover reached511.6billion yuan for CIBM Direct(478.2billion yuan through agent trade and33.4billion yuan through Direct-RFQ Service（SCI）)with net purchase of117.0billion yuan,and893.1billion yuan for Bond Connect with net purchase of40.8billion yuan.
